Professional Choice: references for the understanding of its current dynamics in Cuba.

Abstract

In the present article a synthesis of the theoretical referents is exposed that allow to understand the current dynamics of the process of professional election in Cuba. A systematization of the antecedent investigations that explore the influence that different social and subjective factors have on the professional choice process is carried out.
Likewise, the importance of this process in youth as a stage of development and its future implications is analyzed. These theoretical references have served as support for the design of professional orientation strategies aimed at young people who aspire to enter Higher
Education.
