Abstract

The research shows a theoretical study on the impact of experiential learning, based on David Kolb's learning cycle, the foundations of which are concentrated on previous learning. The intention is to demonstrate the need to reflect on these issues in the current educational process and to integrate flexible methodological strategies that identify the
complexity of human thought, in order to develop capacities from the learner's experience, according to the level of development and educational needs without separating them from their environment. The methodology used was documentary research and the deductive and inductive method to ratify the explanations of the phenomena and interactions that occur, focused on the learning and experiences of the student. It became evident that the different learning styles applied in educational practice favour the strengthening of students' skills and teaching competences.
