Abstract

An important aspect of the latent class analysis is the possibility of including order as a characteristic of the latent variable, because it is frequent to encounter real problems where the aim is to find groups reflecting an ordered process. In this paper two approaches are presented, which intend to solve this situation and are applied in a combined way to the study of the language evolution of Cuban children. It is concluded with a proposal of a work method linking both in a complementary manner
