Abstract

The «territorial development» is conceived as a sustainable social change located process, it is eventually aimed a t achieving territory, location and community permanent progress. The present paper analyzes these, and other topics required to this way o f development. Besides, the IDHTC (territorial compared human development indicator, N.B.) is carried out in all country's territorities. Then follows an analogous analysis, ex
cluding, however, the capital city in order to specify the indicator statistic diversions, fo r in doing so, a more rational and equi table comparison is obtained. Provinces are classified as territories o f low, middle and high development levels. Such indicator was estimated regarding 6 other ones,
having direct incidence in human develop ment. Unlike others, to estimate IDHTC, several indicators were used; all o f them
corresponding to each analyzed year, and the used data covered 23 years, from 1985 to 2007. Such indicator’s results were validated with statistic evidence, which are explained in the research.
