La familia Fissidentaceae (Bryophyta) en Cuba

Se realizó el inventario actualizado de la familia monogenérica Fissidentaceae (Bryophyta) en Cuba, representada por 35 taxones (31 especies y cuatro variedades adicionales), ninguno de ellos endémicos. Para cada taxón estudiado, se brindó información sobre las sinonimias, referencias previas para el país, modo de vida, altitud, formaciones vegetales, distribución por provincias en Cuba y en el mundo. Todos los representantes de la familia se encontraron preferentemente sobre tierra o rocas, especialmente en los bosques pluviales de los principales grupos montañosos del país, correspondientes a las provincias Pinar del Río, Artemisa, Cienfuegos, Sancti Spíritus, Holguín, Granma, Santiago de Cuba y Guantánamo.
