Confirmación molecular de "Chondracanthus saundersii" C.W. Schneider et C.E. Lane para Cuba.

Utilizando técnicas moleculares, se corrobora la presencia de Chondracanthus saundersii C.W. Schneider et C. E. Lane en Cuba. El gene rbcL fue secuenciado y analizado por métodos filogenéticos. El material cubano es genéticamente idéntico a la secuencia original de Bermudas. Se muestran, por vez primera, detalles morfológicos sobre las estructuras reproductivas tetrasporangiales para la especie.
