Modelos para la gestión de residuos sólidos municipales: Una revisión general sobre el estado de arte

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo identificar los modelos aplicados en la gestión de residuos sólidos municipales. Para ello se realizó una búsqueda en la base de datos Scopus y se procedió al análisis bibliométrico utilizando para el análisis semántico el VOS Viewer. Los artículos identificados pertenecen a las áreas de ciencia medioambiental, energía, ingeniería química, ciencias sociales y medicina. Predominan las palabras clave como sostenibilidad, reciclaje, tecnologías, cultura, políticas, economía circular, ciclo de vida de los residuos y gobernanza aplicados a la gestión de residuos sólidos, entre otras. Como resultado se resalta la relevancia de las sinergias entre los ciudadanos y la empresa privada los cuales tienen un rol importante en el abordaje de este fenómeno para mejorar el servicio y asi resolver los problemas de financiamiento e infraestructura. asi como y trabajar juntos para buscar las mejores alternativas de solución.
