La transformación digital de la justicia. Un meta-análisis sobre el uso de la inteligencia artificial en los sistemas legales

Este meta-análisis examinó la aplicación de la inteligencia artificial (IA) en los sistemas legales y su impacto en la transformación digital de la justicia. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de 49 estudios publicados entre 2015 y 2021, siguiendo las directrices PRISMA. Los resultados revelaron un impacto positivo de la IA en la eficiencia, precisión y consistencia de los procesos legales, especialmente en la predicción de decisiones judiciales, el análisis de documentos y la automatización de tareas. Los análisis de subgrupos, meta-regresión y sensibilidad demostraron la robustez de los hallazgos. Sin embargo, se identificaron desafíos éticos y legales, como la transparencia, la equidad y la privacidad. Estos resultados respaldan el potencial de la IA para transformar los sistemas legales, al tiempo que subrayan la necesidad de un enfoque responsable en su implementación. Se discuten las implicaciones para la práctica, la política y la investigación futura.
