Factores asociados a la brecha digital en profesores. Una aproximación desde la revisión de literatura

Analizar la brecha digital de los profesores implica hacer un análisis de factores intrínsecos y extrínsecos que permitan entender de manera más amplia cómo y por qué se da este fenómeno. El presente estudio tiene por objetivo identificar los principales campos de análisis y metodológicos bajo los cuales se ha estudiado la brecha digital en profesores y los factores relacionados a ello. La investigación se desarrolló siguiendo la declaración PRISMA, indagando en las bases de datos SCOPUS, Web of Science y ERIC, usando como descriptores claves digital divide teacher y digital gap teacher. De esta indagación, 31 registros cumplieron con los
criterios de selección establecidos bajo la metodología PICO. Los resultados sugieren que es importante diversificar las metodologías de investigación de la brecha digital como fenómeno multicausal, también se identifica la necesidad de profundizar en los contextos y elementos personales y socioculturales de los profesores. Así mismo, elementos como las creencias, actitudes y motivaciones que pueden constituirse en posibles barreras en torno a la implementación de recursos tecnológicos en las prácticas pedagógicas. Finalmente, los estudios no se deben enfocar solamente en la implementación de recursos tecnológicos, sino que deben dirigirse hacia la construcción del capital cultural del profesor.
