Impacto Del Uso De ChatGPT En Competencias De Escritura Académica En Educación Superior

Resumen

La presente investigación analizó la relación entre el uso de ChatGPT y las competencias de escritura académica en estudiantes universitarios de la Sierra ecuatoriana. Se desarrolló un estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, alcance correlacional-predictivo y corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 471 estudiantes universitarios, seleccionados mediante muestreo no probabilístico intencional. La información fue recopilada mediante una escala adaptada sobre conocimiento, uso real, valor percibido y actitud hacia ChatGPT, complementada con una rúbrica analítica de escritura académica, validada por juicio de expertos y respaldada por adecuados indicadores de confiabilidad. Los resultados evidenciaron uso previo de ChatGPT en el 83,2 % de los participantes, con valoración global moderado-alta. Asimismo, se identificó una correlación positiva moderada y estadísticamente significativa entre uso de ChatGPT y escritura académica (rho = 0,46; p < 0,001). El modelo de regresión explicó el 23 % de la variabilidad del desempeño escritural, confirmando su aporte académico.
