Abstract

This study aimed to demonstrate the usefulness of neutrosophic logic in establishing the relationship between student competencies and certain personality traits in Law students at the National University of Chimborazo. The study was conducted with a sample of 20 senior students. The Analytic Hierarchy Process method was used for analysis, facilitating the decision-making process. This method allowed for the selection of the most relevant competencies for distance learning and the personality traits of interest to the researchers. The results showed that, on average, there is indeterminacy in some pairs of personality traits in students with medium or low performance. Those students who, on average, exhibited high levels in the evaluated competencies, tended more towards certain personality traits compared to the antitrait or indeterminacy.
