Abstract

Human beings exploit natural resources to fulfill their basic needs. Consequently, environmental conservation requires the
implementation of a comprehensive system of social, socioeconomic, and technical-productive measures. These measures
should be directed towards the judicious utilization of natural resources, preservation of natural ecosystems, and protection
of the environment from pollution and degradation. This study aims to scrutinize the factors contributing to the irresponsible
utilization of natural resources using neutrosophic statistics. The findings suggest the necessity of proposing environmental
legislation reforms to regulate and prevent the overexploitation of natural resources. Additionally, promoting environmental
education among the population is crucial to instill responsible ecological behavior in society.
