Abstract

In this paper we proposed a class of ratio estimators using auxiliary information for the estimation of population mean under
stratified sampling. The proposed estimator in this work is based on the Yadav and Baghel (2021) estimator. The expression of
the mean square error for this class of estimators is derived and the performance of the proposed estimator is compared with
competing estimators. Numerical illustration of efficiency comparison is also worked out in the paper.
