Abstract

In this work, with the aim of promoting the use of multivariate data set analysis techniques, a review of the methodology is
presented as well as a couple of illustrations: with categorical data and with quantitative data. To give context to the illustrations,
a general strategy for the application of this type of techniques is presented. Some recommendations are given on the use of the
available R software libraries to apply these novel techniques
