Abstract

In the supply chain, large, medium and small companies seek to optimize their logistics operations within the Distribution
Centers through research-based methodologies to obtain better results in the traceability of merchandise management in order to
minimize time and costs by offering and better service for your customers. This research provides the implementation of a
methodology for better organization and management of operations within a Warehouse specifically in the area of receipt, first
performing an analysis of the real situation of the company through control tools such as: SWOT analysis, fish diagrams
operation flow charts with times, in which the problems existing in the area are specified in order to subsequently carry out the
improvement actions. The principles, strategies and bases of KANBAN are taken for implementation in the receipt area.
The purpose of the present investigation is to propose an optimization model in which it can be applied in any distribution
center, or warehouse that wants to optimize the activities regarding the management of its logistics operations, in addition to
minimizing its costs by reducing the operating times.
