Abstract

The research was conducted during the period 2016 to 2018 in the Ibarra Canton of Ecuador. The quantitative method implemented in the development of this research was the analysis of simple and multiple linear regression with the application of the SPSS software tool (version 19.0) with the main objective of analyzing the tourism supply and demand to help generate practical recommendations for the decision makers. With the application of the quantitative method of analysis of the simple and multiple linear regression it is shown that there is a linear and positive relationship between the number of tourists, infrastructure and gastronomy. The results obtained provide reliable information to the stakeholders involved in decision-making regarding the need to adequately manage the infrastructure and gastronomy services of the Canton Ibarra tourist offer.
