Abstract

At health's field the decision process is complex and delicate. The operational research offers tools that can help the decision maker. The objective of present work is to describe the tools developed by the operational research that they can be of utility for health's field. The decision models based in decision trees, Markov's chains and the simulation models of discreet events, as well as linear programming, the uni-criteria and multi-criteria models, analytich hierarchy process and data mining, they are between tools developed by operational research that have wilde used in health. The operational research's tools have incorporated in development of means and diagnostic criteria, in the economic evaluation, the study of organizational efficiency and in planning
