Abstract

This work tries to quantify the Human Development Index (IDH) of the Spanish autonomic territories that allow to realize comparisons and know the evolution that they have had during the period 2005-2013. A special focus on the indexes of Melilla and Ceuta, is because there are no specific and individualized studies that explain the behavior of the advances or setbacks in these autonomous cities. This measure of human development is also used to compare the kingdoms of Spain and Morocco for the same period, allowing you to better understand the environment of these Spanish cities located in the North of Africa and bordering Morocco. With all this, we wanted to make a study of how the cultural characteristics influence in the three branches of this index: educational, health and economic; within a multidisciplinary and cross-border context
