ESTUDIO DE PERCEPCIÓN DEL POTENCIAL DE LAS EMPRESAS DE BASE TECNOLÓGICA (START- UPS) PARA EL DESARROLLO Y CRECIMIENTO ECONÓMICO DE TABASCO, MÉXICO

Abstract

Today, technological innovation plays a fundamental role in the business world. This is the main characteristic of technology- based companies, better known as Start-ups, which through innovative ideas and supported by new communication technologies offer more efficient solutions to everyday problems, generating jobs and wealth. For these reasons, the Start-ups have an increasing presence in the world. The purpose of the research is to analyze how the creation of Start-ups in the State of Tabasco, Mexico, can contribute to its development and economic growth. This is due to the difficult situation it is experiencing in terms of unemployment, low economic growth, poverty and inequality. For this, a quantitative and descriptive research was carried out; in its design was based on a population universe constituted by the teachers of the Academic Division of Economic-Administrative Sciences (DACEA) of the Autonomous University of Juárez Tabasco (UJAT), determining a sample size of 56 teachers, who were applied a structured questionnaire based on the research objective. The results demonstrate the potential of Star-ups to boost the development and economic growth of the state of Tabasco.
