Abstract

The present research was developed in the Baba canton of Ecuador and aimed to apply multivariate methods for the study of Sustainable Rural Development. Through the application of the Optimum Scaling method through the Multiple Correspondence Analysis (ACM), the Reliability Analysis and the Concordance Analysis of the respondents, it was possible to characterize the producers' perception regarding Sustainable Rural Development, allowing to investigate the factors And variables that influence it. This makes it possible for the different managers of the canton to make the right decisions for the satisfaction of their producers.
