DISEÑO DE UNA SOCIEDAD ARTIFICIAL PARA ESTUDIAR LA MIGRACIÓN FORZADA POR CÓNFLICTO ARMADO INTERNO EN EL SUROCCIDENTE COLOMBIANO

Abstract

This research proposes the development of an artificial society of agents to study the patterns that influence the decision making of forced displaced population by the armed conflict in southwestern Colombia, where Santiago de Cali stands out as the main receiver. The agents, that are part of this society, have incorporated elements of the red harvester ant’s colonies in Arizona, who through chemicals substances build migratory routes that maximize the objective of the search. The forced migrant selects the place of arrival that meets the socio-demographic conditions that facilitates its adaptation and minimize its risk at the same time. The design of this artificial society allowed finding the most preferable neighborhoods from a specific ejector, and the convergent areas and distribution of displaced migrants within the municipality, which is conducive to the development of differential repair plans for this population
